Audiovisual Services
Access to audiovisual materials requires at least two weeks advance notice. Audiovisual materials include sound recordings, video recordings, and motion picture film. Hoover staff will determine whether use copies of the materials requested can be made available. Some materials may not be accessible even with advance notice. Photographs and audiovisual materials are protected by copyright law (Title 17 U.S. Code). The Hoover Institution Archives does not own copyrights in most of its materials. The user is responsible for obtaining permission from the copyright owner.
A signed form, "Conditions Governing the Acceptance of Audiovisual Reproduction Orders," must accompany payment to initiate a reproduction order. Please contact us for a copy of this form.
General Information about Payment for Reproductions
Payment in advance is required. All payments must be in United States currency payable through a U.S. bank. No wire transfers or credit card payments.
California sales tax will be added for will-call and orders shipped to California addresses.
